Development Team

In the beginning, before the days of UT2004, development began in Halo CE with Alex Schwartz and his floormates Brad Scoville and Matt Murdy. Later on that year, Beth Beinke and Josh Dick were added to the team. This team created the WPImap Halo Level and when the onslaught of work - that is known as Sophomore year - hit hard, map development came to a halt. Recently, Beth and Alex have picked back up, completely re-doing all of the art assets from the original map for their junior year IQP project. All 5 original developers are members of the undergraduate class of 2009 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute [WPI]. The WPI Halo Map is officially recognized by WPI's Game Development Club.
Alex Schwartz--
Alex has been deeply involved in Halo since its release, participating in both the competitive and modding scenes and worked heavily on the Halo map version of WPI. Interested in computers, gaming, and digital media, he came to WPI for the new Interactive Media and Game Development major (IMGD). In the Interactive Campus Tour, he has worked on modeling with Maya, texturing, photography, Unreal scripting, static mesh placement in the map, terrain editing, troubleshooting, and more. He can be contacted at his website, gtproductions.net.
Elisabeth Beinke--
Elisabeth is a Junior Interactive Media and Game Development major at WPI, with a focus in artistic elements such as modeling, texturing, and animation. She started the WPImap as a sophomore, but was mainly involved in the Interactive Campus Tour. She has worked on modeling with Maya, texuring, photography, static mesh placement in the map, foliage work, terrain editing, and more. She can be contacted at her website, bethbeinke.com.
